Jason Moody (Founder & Managing Director)
Jason founded Convergent Network Solutions with Kevin Dowd in 1999. Jason’s ambition was to fulfil a rapidly emerging requirement for specialist network and security services to blue chip companies in the City. Having spent the previous 10 years as a Chief Technical Design Authority and Head of Communications managing large network teams, for such city stalwarts as Natwest Bank & Slaughter and May, Jason was ideally placed to move into consultancy and get CNS up and running. Jason’s in depth networking knowledge coupled with his strong belief in the need for operational and delivery excellence has remained the corner stone of CNS’s success. His industry knowledge and business understanding ensures CNS’s services provide innovative IT solutions to real business challenges faced by our clients.

Kevin Dowd (Founder & Director of Security Assessment)
As a CLAS Consultant, PCI DSS QSA & former CHECK Team leader Kevin’s standing with the IT Security industry is unquestionable. Having moved from Natwest with Jason Moody to start CNS Kevin was instrumental in starting the CNS Security practice as the industry was in its infancy. Now responsible for development of the CNS Compliance tool set as well as the Assessment and Audit team, Kevin leads from the coal face ensuring that he understands the challenges facing the the entire spectrum of CNS customers and ensuring that he can design the most effective & pragmatic ways of CNS customers gaining the assurance they need.
 
Paul Rose (Director of Strategic Services)
Pauls military back ground gives him the ideal station to lead a team that manage some hugely business critical and security sensitive networks. Paul cut his teeth within the InfoSec world, post-service, with some well known City finance houses and brings and an immense knowledge base of the workings of public and private sector the InfoSec arena. As a QSA and Lead Auditor Paul has created managed services that not only protect the network but achieve compliance to any required regulation. Paul also leads the CNS team for Emergency Services and is a well known figure within the CESG and NPIA worlds.
 
Shannon Simpson (Sales & Marketing Director)
Shannon joined CNS in 2000 from Canon Voice & Data and has over seen the growth of CNS sales across all sectors since that time. With over 15 years of experience within the IT security industry Shannon continues to manage some of CNS’s key accounts whilst having responsibility for the CNS branding, marketing & PR. Since becoming a Director in 2007 CNS's ambitious sales targets have been continually met.
