June's Security Chapter is your chance to hear directly from CNS Consultants as they discuss the issues, solutions and future of Secure Mobility. Whether it be Bring Your Own Device, Mobile Device Management or Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms there are considerations, costs and risks associated with extending corporate data to the pocket. CNS will discuss how an organisation can quantify their own Risk Appetite for Secure Mobility and define strategies, policies and solutions accordingly.

When: Tuesday June 12th 2012

Where: The Little Ship Club, Bell Wharf Lane,

Upper Thames Street, London, EC4R 3TB

Time: 0830hrs to 1015hrs

Cost: Free to Attend (Breakfast will be served).

To be discussed:

Secure Mobility: what's your risk appetite?
Every organisation and individual will have a different opinion the risks and benefits of allowing corporate or consumer owned devices to hold corporate data. There are many considerations to digest before rolling out any of the many solutions available on the market. Whether you are in a highly regulated environment (HMG, CoCo, IGSoC) and/or operate an open network the risks of data loss and proliferation must be fully understood. CNS IA Consultants will discuss the areas for concern, the possible business impact and threat scenarios for your Information risk assessments and the criteria required for a successful  mobile data strategy.

How to roll out the appropriate Secure Mobility Strategy.
CNS have deployed a number of successful secure mobility strategies and solutions into organisation with wildly diverse appetites for risk; from RESTRICTED (IL3) Environments to point and click BYOD solutions. Here CNS Consultants will show you what has worked and what hasn't. We shall draw insight from industry sages and walk you through deployment methodologies, security and encryption considerations and on-going management and maintenance options.

Just how much data is on this thing?

In a live demonstration the CNS TEST team will demonstrate how much personal data can be accessed on a mobile device and how, if unencrypted, email and data can be intercepted.
